01 — About

Who I am

I'm a passionate developer and M.Tech student at IIT Hyderabad, currently researching Network-on-Chip security in tiled chip multiprocessors. My thesis explores Virtual Channel State Attacks and mitigation strategies in gem5-simulated systems.

On the web side, I build full-stack applications with the MERN stack, and I love diving deep into systems programming — from custom memory allocators that outperform glibc to Linux kernel drivers.

When I'm not coding, I'm grinding competitive programming (1200+ problems), teaching as a TA for Deep Learning and OS, or volunteering at CS research events at IIT Hyderabad.

  • Implemented a Virtual Channel State Attack on NoC-based TCMP in gem5 to analyze performance impact.
  • Effective average packet latency rose from 10%→22% on 4×4 meshes and 5%→15% on 8×8 meshes.
  • Benchmarked NoC performance under attack using synthetic and real workloads to quantify degradation.

Deterministic Memory Allocator
Engineered a deterministic O(1) memory pool using embedded free-lists to eliminate metadata overhead. Built segregated-fit buckets (32B, 64B) to minimize fragmentation in real-time systems. Outperformed glibc malloc throughput with strict O(1) latency guarantees.

Image Captioning CNN + LSTM
Image captioning model on Flickr8k using DenseNet201 for feature extraction and LSTM for caption generation. Custom data generator aligns image features with tokenized captions. Full text preprocessing and image normalization pipeline.
